| Ethnographic **reflexivity** is a research method that places the observer under observation: the researcher gathers observations on his own affects in a dedicated part of the fieldbook, and later analyzes them as indications either of the perturbations induced by his presence, or possibly evidence of the affective dimension of local social life.
